When booking a tour or travel package with Cusco in Travel, we kindly ask that you carefully read our Terms and Conditions, as they define the agreement between you and our company. By making a payment, you acknowledge and accept these terms in full.
Itineraries may be modified due to weather conditions, local authority restrictions, or group needs. Cusco in Travel is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings, nor for accidents, injuries, or health-related incidents during the tour. Any expenses resulting from such cases are the traveler’s responsibility.
If equipment is provided, clients are responsible for its proper care and must reimburse any damage or loss. It is also each traveler’s responsibility to be in good physical and mental condition for the trip. We are not liable for any misjudgments regarding fitness for the tour.
We recommend consulting with us before making any payment to help you choose the most suitable program. To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% per person is required. Your payment confirms a binding agreement, which will be acknowledged in writing.
We accept initial deposits through Western Union, PayPal, and other online options. Clients are responsible for any applicable bank or transfer fees.
Prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). The remaining balance must be paid at our Cusco office at least one day before the tour, in Peruvian soles, USD, or by credit/debit card (Visa). Note: Card payments are subject to an 8% transaction fee.
Once agreed upon, the price of your tour will not change.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Please note:
The initial deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation 15+ days before departure: 50% of the deposit is forfeited.
Cancellation 7–15 days before: If full payment was made, 50% of the total will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 48 hours before the tour: No refunds.
No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the tour.
In the case of unforeseen events (e.g., strikes, extreme weather, technical issues), we may modify the itinerary without offering a refund. We will strive to provide an equal alternative. If major changes are needed, we’ll notify you in advance. Any additional costs will be borne by the client.
If a tour is cancelled due to exceptional circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
Our tours involve adventure and cultural immersion, which may carry risks such as injury or emotional distress. By participating, you accept these risks and confirm that you are in suitable condition. Cusco in Travel is not responsible for accidents or injuries during the tour.
The tour guide or company representative has final authority regarding group safety and behavior. All participants must follow instructions and comply with Peruvian law. Disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.
All participants must carry a valid passport or a copy during excursions.
We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical coverage, trip cancellation, repatriation, and baggage protection.
We work with trusted third-party providers (e.g., hotels, airlines) to enhance your travel experience. However, we are not responsible for service delays, errors, or inconveniences caused by these providers.
Please notify your guide immediately if any issue arises. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the tour’s end.
All legal matters will be resolved exclusively in Cusco, Peru, under Peruvian law. Compensation claims are limited to the value of the disputed service and do not include indirect damages or lost opportunities.
